A virtual card is a unique 16-digit card number with a CVV code and expiration date that can be generated instantly and used to make purchases online or over the phone. Think of it as a normal credit or debit card, but without the physical plastic card.

Processing fees are paid when you pay a vendor outside the US or in a non-USD currency with a FreelancerCard.  �

Cross-border Fees: If the vendor is based outside of the US, a Cross-border Fee of 1.2% is charged. This applies whether the currency is USD or non-USD.

Foreign Exchange Fees: If the billing currency is non-USD, a Foreign Exchange Fee of 1% is charged.

If a vendor is based outside the US and the billing currency is non-USD, both Cross-border Fees and Foreign Exchange Fees are applicable.
